During the 10th EMES International Research Conference on Social Enterprise, Tine De Moor gave a presentation, titled: ‘Scaling community-based enterprises: the multipurpose proposition’ (by Arthur Feinberg, Tine De Moor, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University).
Using the SICADE model, Tine demonstrates how community-based enterprises (CBEs) can scale and become more resilient by diversifying their activities or services, essentially expanding into multiple, interconnected areas rather than focusing narrowly on one.
The presentation was part of the session SE Cooperatives 5: Transitions and Sustainability on Friday 7 November. During the EMES conference week, several team members of the SEICA research group presented their work. View the full program.
