Brechtje Polman


Biography

Brechtje holds a dual master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology, specializing in Sustainable Citizenship, and Urban Geography & Spatial Planning from Utrecht University. She has previously worked as a research assistant focusing on the urban spatiality of reproductive rights. During her academic trajectory, she conducted ethnographic research on topics such as student housing during the Covid-19 pandemic and urban community gardening.

Brechtje takes a transdisciplinary approach to creatively bridging academia, art, and communication. Currently, she has joined RSM to enhance the connection between research and citizen collectives, encouraging community engagement and cross-sectional collaboration.
