Building Resilience Together: Cooperatives as Drivers of Transition | Panel talk with Tine De Moor
November 23 @ 19:30 – 21:30
Avansa Regio Gent is organising a conversation about the role cooperatives can play in building a more resilient and sustainable society. The event brings together different perspectives on how cooperation can help address some of the major challenges of our time.
In times of uncertainty, cooperatives prove their true value. By working together, sharing risks and putting people at the heart of their model, they can create resilience in times of crisis. But is that enough to tackle the major challenges of our century? Can cooperatives drive a sustainable transition towards an economy that is more local, human and fair? And could this ultimately also make us geopolitically stronger?
Professor Tine De Moor will join Dirk Holemans and Koen Schoors for a panel discussion exploring these questions and the potential of cooperation as a force for change.
This event is part of the exhibition “Ghent, Capital of Cooperative Dreams.”
This event will be held in Dutch.
