On 17 January 2027, 404 (de Vooruit) in Ghent will host a full day dedicated to cooperatives – their history, their role in society, and their future.

The day begins around 10:00 with a historical and social perspective on cooperation in Ghent and beyond. Professor Tine De Moor will join the conversation, exploring the broader historical role of cooperatives, the conditions under which they flourish, and the particular place of Ghent in this story.

There will be plenty of space for conversation, exchange and debate throughout the day.
